A devastating military operation unfolded in Madaya Township, Mandalay State, on March 23, starting around 5 o’clock in the morning. Approximately 210 military forces from three different villages launched an attack that lasted nearly 5 hours. By 10 a.m., the aftermath revealed a trail of destruction, with 44 houses in Satethar Village, 3 houses in Ownkone Village, 13 houses in KywaeKyi Village, 1 house in Kywaetat Village, and 2 houses in KyaeKya Village burnt down and destroyed. The total count of houses destroyed across the township reached 63.
The horrors did not end there. At 1:00 p.m. on the same day, terrorist military council soldiers targeted fleeing civilians near Satethar village and KywaeKya village. They fired RPGs at them, resulting in injuries to 5 people from Pytha village. The combination of attacks on both the fleeing civilians and the residential areas has left a devastating impact on the affected communities.
